Ford Edge
Bold, American design distinguishes the 2007 Ford Edge in the red-hot crossover utility vehicle (CUV) market. Equipped with an all-new 265-horsepower V-6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission, Edge delivers performance, quietness and fuel efficiency. Ford Edge is expected to achieve fuel economy in the mid twenties in highway driving. "Edge underscores the bold, American design direction for all Ford vehicles going forward," says Mark Fields, president, The Americas, Ford Motor Company. "Edge also is packed with Ford innovation – from its panoramic glass roof and laptop-friendly center console to fuel-saving engine and advanced safety features. We expect Edge to make waves in the hot crossover market this year just like the Fusion did for midsize cars last year."
Ford Expedition
The new 2007 Ford Expedition and all-new Expedition EL extended length model deliver a fresh design, best-ever capability and comfort developed specifically for core SUV customers. With 14.8 inches of additional overall length, Expedition EL delivers 130.8 cubic feet of cargo space, including 24 cubic feet more behind the third-row seat than the already spacious Expedition. Expedition EL rides on a 131-inch wheelbase, 12 inches longer than the standard Expedition.
Ford Shelby GT500
What happens when a legend from Texas reunites with a legend from Dearborn? The most powerful Mustang ever. After 40 years, racing legend Carroll Shelby and the Ford Mustang are back together with the introduction of the 2007 Ford Shelby GT500. The collaboration between Shelby and Ford's Special Vehicle Team (SVT) is yielding an instant collector's Mustang that builds 475 horsepower in its 5.4-liter supercharged V-8. "When Carroll was developing the original GT350 and GT500, he wanted to build the most powerful, most capable Mustangs of his day," says Hau Thai-Tang, director, Advanced Product Creation and Special Vehicle Team. "Our goal was to build the most powerful, most capable Mustang ever."
Ford Escape
For 2007, Escape adds two fresh appearance packages that add a touch of class and pump up the excitement. The XLT appearance package includes painted silver metallic fascias, bodyside cladding and wheel lip moldings, with three new exciting exterior colors. The XLT Sport models get an updated and upscale monochromatic appearance package. Customers can choose from a dozen common equipment configurations in XLS, XLT, XLT Sport and Limited trims. Escape Limited customers can select the Luxury Comfort Package which includes a 320-watt Audiophile stereo with six-disc in-dash CD player, six speakers plus subwoofer, as well as heated front seats, heated side mirrors and the reverse sensing system.
Ford Explorer Sport Trac
The 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac combines attributes of the best-selling Ford Explorer and best-selling Ford F-150. The Sport Trac is new from the ground up, including its innovative cargo box with tiered storage and a trio of integrated storage bins, complete with drain plugs. "Sport Trac is designed for customers who demand the comfort and refinement of a five-passenger SUV as well as a tough and rugged adventure vehicle for hauling everything from mountain bikes to landscaping supplies," says Cisco Codina, group vice president, North America Marketing, Sales & Service.
Ford Escape Hybrid
For 2007, The Escape Hybrid offers customers the choice of four new packages, combining a fresh look with infotainment and safety features and three new exterior colors. The Escape Hybrid is a "full" hybrid, meaning it automatically switches between pure electric power, pure gasoline engine power or combined operation to maximize efficiency and performance. Full hybrids achieve their greatest improvement in fuel economy during stop- and -go driving, when the electric motor is most efficient. In fact, the Escape Hybrid provides approximately 80 percent better fuel economy in city driving than the conventional V-6 Escape. Escape Hybrid can travel more than 400-500 miles in city driving on a single tank of gasoline.
Ford Five Hundred
The Ford Five Hundred marries the body of a contemporary sedan to a crossover vehicle architecture, resulting in an upscale four-door sedan with upright Command Seating for five and available all-wheel drive capability. Five Hundred provides a confident driving experience with best-in-class interior room and versatility, as well as five-star safety ratings in all four categories of the government crash tests. For 2007, the flagship sedan of the Ford brand offers an all-new chrome package and SIRIUS satellite radio, in addition to offering a navigation system and heated seats on SEL models.
Ford Focus
For 2007, Focus features a new option of sport seats with leather seating surfaces and contrasting leather inserts. Available on the ST sedan as well as all SE and SES models except wagon, this seat treatment is also offered in the new Interior Upgrade Package. This package includes a two-tone, leather-wrapped steering wheel with Charcoal upper and Flint lower to match the seating surfaces, a unique satin finish on the center stack surround and instrument-panel cluster gauge surround, and black sill plates with exposed "Focus" in body color. Spoilers are the focal point of two available Street Appearance packages, which give Focus an aggressive, customized tuner look.
Ford Freestar
The 2007 Ford Freestar is designed to be the safest, most flexible, most powerful and highest-quality minivan Ford has built. With its "Good" rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and five-star rating in government frontal crash tests, Freestar is one of the safest family vehicles around. Freestar's 4.2-liter V-6 remains the largest engine available in a minivan and boasts the highest torque in its class. Freestar is available in SE, SEL and Limited models. A cargo van version is also available. Freestar offers six new exterior colors for 2007, including Windveil Blue Clearcoat, Alloy Clearcoat Metallic, Dune Pearl Clearcoat Metallic, Pewter Clearcoat Metallic, Light Tundra Clearcoat and Silver Frost Clearcoat Metallic. Two interior color choices are available.
Ford Freestyle

For 2007, Freestyle customers can choose among four new packages for added comfort and convenience features. Even in this highly capable and competitive segment, Freestyle sets an impressive benchmark for comfort, versatility, efficiency and safety. It can carry up to seven adult passengers with its best-in-class legroom in the second and third rows. Freestyle is also capable of achieving up to 27 miles per gallon highway. Its versatile fold-flat, third-row seating provides flexible cargo-carrying capacity.
Ford Mustang
For 2007, Mustang's bold American style is enhanced with two new appearance packages and a host of interior and equipment upgrades. Additional features include available heated front seats, a standard auxiliary audio input jack and optional SIRIUS satellite radio. Yet another Mustang first, a DVD-based navigation system, will be available shortly after the 2007 model year launches. Mustang is one of the greatest automotive sales success stories of all time. Nearly one out of every two sports cars sold in America is a Mustang, and Mustang remains one of the hottest-selling cars in America. It's also America's best-selling convertible. Mustang coupe and convertible body styles are offered in four models: V6 Deluxe, V6 Premium, GT Deluxe and GT Premium.
Ford Ranger
For 2007, the Ford Ranger offers genuine "Built Ford Tough" heritage in a high-quality, high-value package. Attractive pricing, an abundance of series, a variety of 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains, a trio of cab configurations and a wealth of options mean there's a customized Ranger for every buyer.
Ranger emphasizes safety and security for the 2007 model year, with Ford's Personal Safety System, tire pressure monitoring system and SecuriLock passive anti-theft system all as included as standard equipment. The Personal Safety System includes a front-passenger sensing system and dual-stage driver and front-passenger air bags. The tire pressure monitoring system uses sensors mounted on each of the wheels except the spare to monitor air pressure.
Ford Crown Victoria
The Crown Victoria is a sedan for traditional large-car buyers who seek the features offered in the American cars they grew up with — roominess, comfort, smooth ride, V-8 power and rear-wheel-drive handling. Size, safety and dependability remain hallmarks of the Crown Victoria, which continues to earn the government's highest, five-star frontal crash rating for the driver and front passenger. For 2007, Crown Victoria is offered in Standard and LX trim levels. New standard equipment includes an AM/FM audio system with a single-disc CD player, and remote keyless entry with SmartLock. A new Premium Sport Handling and Performance Package is available on LX models.
Ford F-150 FX2
For model year 2007, Ford adds to an unmatched lineup of more than 60 unique F-Series offerings with a new FX2 Sport Package available on 4x2 XLT SuperCab or Super Crew with a Styleside box for the 2007 model year. It includes a dark accent billet-style grille insert with body color grille surround, unique 18-inch aluminum wheels, available 20-inch aluminum wheels, a chrome exhaust tip, fog lamps, unique captain's chairs with center console and floor-mounted shifter, and a body color front bumper, rear bumper, door and tailgate handles. Ford also has upgraded the F-150 line for 2007 with a long list of new options, features and equipment, including a tire pressure monitoring system, enhanced seats, new factory-installed accessories and new colors.
