- Safety: Smart Airbag" Passenger Seat Detection System. For 2007, Maserati has introduced new passenger detection technology which activates the front, passenger airbag only when weight in excess of 75 pounds is detected in the seat.
- Handling: New Front and Rear Shock Absorbers. To improve the comfort of vehicle occupants when encountering road hazards, new front and rear shock absorbers have been engineered for 2007 resulting in an approximate 10% improvement in ride comfort.
