"c" stands for "crazy mpg"

 "The highest rated city fuel economy estimate (53 mpg) of any vehicle without a plug," says Toyota. The "c" is an urban-friendly subcompact with hatchback utility and the hybrid technology that has sold more than 2 million cars under the Prius banner.
