Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Low
Ready to pounce . . .
Decked out in satin chrome and denim black, the new Fat Boy Low is a darker and lower incarnation of the popular fat-custom. Although not officially one of Harley’s Dark Customs, the slammed suspension and blacked-out treatment in this new version give it the menacing profile of a lean, mean street machine. With its front and rear suspension lowered by 1.15-inches,and the seat height dropped to 24.25 inches, the Lo is the lowest ride of any stock Harley. Its new low-riding design gives the rider more of an “in the bike” riding position, making you feel like a component of the gnarly motorcycle. Reflecting its dark side is its gloss black finish on its triple clamp covers and nacelle, headlight bucket, air cleaner cover trim ring, rear fender supports, and floorboards. The frame, swing arm, front shock covers, oil tank, and air cleaner cover all have a subtly contrasting denim black finish. Even its Twin Cam 96B engine has black powder coating, and the Bullet Hole Disc 17-inch cast aluminum wheels have black centers and machined outer rims. Virile and agile, the Fat Boy Lo is on the prowl and ready to pounce at the chance to attack the asphalt.
