Low-speed solution costs pennies to charge

Showgoers who want a low-speed electric vehicle that goes 25 mph and costs pennies to charge will be among the first in the country to see the Wheego Whip. The two-passenger coupe has a CARB certified range of 55 miles and a real world range of 40 miles. Wheego’s mission statement, like the Whip’s msrp of $18,995 price, is unabashedly modest: “We don’t want aspire to be the biggest car company, or make the fastest cars. We want our customers to be happy and smart advocates for electric cars.”
