Chevrolet Camaro

Chevrolet Camaro

Reinvented American icon delivers 304 hp and 29 city mpg

After a seven-year hiatus, the new Chevrolet Camaro is back, and better than ever. It’s advanced 3.6L, direct-injected V-6 delivers performance and efficiency, with 304 horsepower and EPA-rated 29 mpg in highway driving in LT and LS models.

The performance-oriented Camaro SS offers a pair of 6.2L V-8s, including one with Active Fuel Management that helps improve fuel economy by shutting down four cylinders during certain light-load driving conditions. Like the exterior, the Camaro’s four-passenger cabin blends contemporary features and heritage design with well-executed with details that convey simplicity and refinement.

Chevrolet Equinox

Chevrolet Equinox

Crossover capability driven by a fuel-efficient 32-mpg V6

A new, 2.4L direct injection engine helps the Equinox deliver expected best-in-segment estimated highway fuel economy of 32 mpg (EPA certification pending), a 33-percent improvement over the previous model.

The new Equinox draws its exterior design inspiration from the Chevrolet Malibu sedan and Traverse crossover; and like those vehicles, the new Equinox complements its styling with attention to detail and unexpected features. Both the new, 2.4L engine and an available 3.0L V-6 feature fuel-saving direct injection and variable valve timing technology, as well as fuel-saving six-speed transmissions.

Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid

Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid

20-21 city-highway mpg

The 2010 model gets 21/22 city-highway mpg with 2WD, and 20/20 city-highway mpg with 4WD. New exterior colors: Taupe Grey Metallic, Red Jewel Tintcoat and Sheer Silver Metallic replace Graystone Metallic, Silver Birch Metallic and Deep Ruby Metallic.

Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid

Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid

21/22 city-highway mpg--and a 500-mile range

The Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid is a powerful, full-size pickup that achieves 40-percent greater city fuel economy and a 25-percent improvement in overall fuel economy while delivering the capability expected of a full-size truck – including a 6,100-pound (2,767 kg) towing capacity.

Partnering General Motors’ patented two-mode hybrid system and a powerful 6.0L gas V-8, the Silverado Hybrid delivers highly efficient performance, including all-electric driving up to 30 mph (48 km/h). That saves fuel even when the truck is fully loaded or towing a trailer.

EPA-estimated fuel economy for both 2WD and 4WD models is 21 mpg in the city and 22 on the highway. Combined with a 26-gallon (98 L) fuel tank, the Silverado Hybrid delivers a cruising range of more than 500 miles.

The Silverado Hybrid is offered in the crew cab body style on both 2WD and 4WD models. Each model is equipped with several standard, popular features, including StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, a locking rear axle and a trailering package. Silverado Hybrid also offers dual-stage frontal air bags and head curtain side air bags, and it is the only full-size truck with five-star side-impact ratings in federal crash tests.

Chevrolet ZR1

Chevrolet ZR1

Now featuring PTM--Performance Traction Management

After taking on the world’s best supercars and proving a better value and performer by the global automotive press, the Corvette ZR1 returns for 2010 with new Performance Traction Management (PTM) technology. It is an advanced system that is part of a new Launch Control feature, which optimizes traction for greater and more consistent on-track performance.

The PTM system holds a predetermined engine speed while the driver pushes the throttle to the floor. That allows the driver to quickly release the clutch and the system modulates engine torque 100 times per second to maximize the available traction. The system is capable of approaching a skilled driver’s best effort and repeats it consistently.

PTM also integrates the ZR1’s traction control, active handling and selective ride control systems to enhance race track driving consistency and overall performance. When full throttle is applied upon exiting a corner, it automatically manages acceleration dynamics.

The new PTM technology is the newest element that affirms the Corvette ZR1 is an American supercar with the technology and engineering refinement to take on the world’s best – but at a much lower price.
