October 15, 2007, Seattle, WA Car enthusiasts of all ages will be celebrating this year's line up of 2008 models with a special, no crowds, sneak-peak at Qwest Event Center on Halloween night.
Presented as "The Ultimate Halloween Party of the Year" this event does double duty for car lovers and education supporters. The cars are the stars of this elegant party as guests have the opportunity to leisurely stroll the aisles and visit over 45 different exhibitions featuring over 400 cars without the hustle and bustle of the usual auto show crowds. The evening's festivities include the fabulous big band sounds of Tuxedo Junction and a spectacular array of fine foods by Levy Restaurants.
For the third year in a row, Junior Achievement of Washington (JA), and the 103,000 kids served by JA programs in western Washington, is the beneficiary of this evening's proceeds. JA is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides in-school and after-school programs for students in grades K-12 focusing on seven key content areas including financial literacy and career development.

The First Night for Charity is hosted by Puget Sound Auto Dealers Association (PSADA). The event is organized by a gala committee comprised of members of PSADA and members of Junior Achievement of Washington’s Board of Directors and representatives.
The Seattle International Auto Show, presented by State Farm, and also sponsored by AutoTrader.com, Chevron Lubricants and Associated Petroleum Products runs Oct. 31-Nov. 4, at Qwest Field Event Center. The show will feature hundreds of all-new 2008 model year cars, trucks, crossovers, alternative-fuel, minivans, sport utilities and 4WD vehicles from every major automaker. The event will also present one-of-a-kind concepts and extremely rare exotics and classics. Hours are Wednesday, 12 Noon - 6 p.m.; Thursday - Friday, 12 Noon – 10 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Adult admission is $11. Kids 12 and under are free.
